On Saturday, May 11, 2024, the award ceremony for the photo and video competition with the theme “tourism awareness” among VOJ students took place in Lalla Rookh. A total of 126 schools from across Suriname participated.

Additionally, a consultation was held with stakeholders from the tourism sector to operationalize the Suriname Tourism Authority. During a workshop and brainstorming session, ideas were proposed in collaboration with NIKOS.
